Claudia W. Richardson, MD, MPH is a gynecologist currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and clinician at a community health center in rural Northeastern North Carolina. Prior to her current position, she practiced as the Medical Director for Planned Parenthood of Maryland. She holds a B.A. in Biology from Duke University and received her M.D. from the East Carolina Brody School of Medicine. In 2003, Claudia received a Masters in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill. She is passionate about reproductive healthcare access in rural and urban areas across the demographic spectrum. She also values the synergy of collaborative medical practice in the clinical setting, as well as community, institutional and agency partnering external to the clinical setting.
